ALL Running sessions meet inside The Cluntergate Centre, Cluntergate, Horbury,WF4 5DA unless stated otherwise on the calendar.

Here are the details of our runs:

  • Monday 6:30pm 5km – 6km (Horbury)
  • Tuesday 7:30pm 5km – 6km (Scissett)
  • Wednesday at 7.30pm 5km – 6km (Horbury)
  • Wednesday 6.30pm mixed ladies and men 10km (Horbury)
  • Thursday 6:30pm 5km to 10km (Horbury)
  • Thursday 7:30pm 4-6km (Scissett)

Saturday 8:00am 10km plus (Horbury)

A little more detail:-

The Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 5-6km runs are mixed ability runs that are our regular runs from Horbury Cluntergate Centre

We have a 10km run on a Wednesday at 7:30pm that’s a mixed group run (some male comets) and you’d need to be able to do that distance in approx an hour /an hour 10 mins, it’s for our insanely fast comets 😂

We also do Long Run Saturday when it’s 6miles plus at 8am.

We will also do other courses throughout the year such as 0-5km (Fit Fun Five), which is for people who haven’t run or are starting their journey and a 5-10km which we call train for ten (Train 4 Ten) to move people who want to up to 10km.

We also have a comets group running out of Scissett called the Scissett Striders they run on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 7:30pm from the Scissett Swimming Baths

Lastly we do a skills and drills technique/coaching session on the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm

We are not all fast and no-one gets left behind it’s all about enjoying running and chatting and being out and about.

You can either pay £1 per run or £30 for our annual membership and join any run
